Please note that the road between Gartmore and the A81 will be closed between 08:00-18:00 daily, from Monday 7 September until Friday 11 September 2026. During this time a shuttle bus will operate between Aberfoyle and Gartmore. Please view shuttle times attached.

During this time, when travelling into Edinburgh, we kindly ask customers to alight at either Shanwick Place or George Street instead. If you're heading towards Falkirk, you can join at George Street at the Dome or Princes Street Stop PX.

Update - 19 August 2026: We have been made aware of unplanned changes to the flood prevention scheme roadworks on Cornton Road which were due to run until approximately 22nd February 2027.
We are seeking urgent clarification from Balfour Beatty and Stirling Council.
Service 54 and 54C will continue to operate as per their scheduled timetables at this time as we seek urgent clarification on this matter and we thank customers for their understanding and patience at this time. -
